BenefitPoint Product Owner & Training Specialist
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Product Owner and Training Specialist to manage system configurations, ensure data integrity, and lead system migrations for newly acquired offices. This role involves working closely with internal teams, IT, and vendors to resolve issues, while also creating and delivering training programs aligned with company goals. You will develop training materials, lead training sessions, and drive continuous improvement efforts to support technology adoption and enhance system functionality.
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, technical expertise, and a passion for training, ensuring successful system integration and user readiness across the organization


Primary Responsibilities
Project Management & System Administration
  • Oversee system configuration, including office and employee setup, maintenance, and updates.
  • Coordinate setup for new agency team members in the BenefitPoint system, collaborating with IT for a seamless onboarding process.
  • Monitor helpdesk tickets and provide support as needed.
  • Manage system migrations for newly acquired offices, ensuring data gathering, mapping, UAT, and audit processes meet integration timelines and data quality standards.
  • Lead and manage the development and execution of acquisition playbook to ensure smooth system migration and user adoption, including key milestones and outcomes.
  • Deliver consistent progress updates and conduct needs assessments for key stakeholders to ensure alignment and support.
  • Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and optimize system functionality.
  • Ensure data integrity and effective system use by leading adherence efforts and collaborating with Data Governance team.

Training Strategy
  • Design and deliver training sessions aligned with strategic goals and initiatives, both in-person and virtual.
  • Facilitate M&A planning discussions, conducting training needs assessments for new agency onboarding.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to schedule training, track progress, and ensure success.
  • Develop and maintain training materials, including manuals, quick reference guides, and e-learning tools.
  • Develop training programs for new system users, guiding them on how to effectively use the BenefitPoint system and educating them on workflows and processes.
  • Lead and provide training support during user acceptance testing for software upgrades.
  • Utilize helpdesk data and surveys to identify training needs and obstacles, supporting adoption efforts.
  • Foster a continuous improvement culture, gathering feedback to drive system enhancements

Qualifications
  • Highly organized self-starter with experience in project management, workflow development, process improvement, training, and change management.
  • Proven experience in system migration and data conversion, including developing test data plans, overseeing user UAT, and ensuring data verification processes to meet project deadlines.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to analyze, manipulate, and manage large datasets effectively.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate across all organizational levels to drive system adoption, achieve buy-in, and meet quality goals.
  • Prior experience in BenefitPoint system configuration is required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Knowledge of the employee benefits insurance industry is a plus.

Additional Information
  • 35% -50% travel required.
