Position Summary  
The Broking Associate supports Middle Market Broking Specialists and Consultants on research, data gathering, underwriting analysis and preparation of various materials in support of broking activities on new and renewal business to support client retention and production goals.
  
Primary Responsibilities 
  • Supports in the data compilation activities related to loss history and coverage needs for Middle Market renewal strategy documents, submissions, and proposals.
  • Prepare coverage comparisons based upon quotations and proposals received from underwriters with oversight from senior staff.
  • Supports in the identification and analysis of client exposures, and helps identify markets to utilize, working with available data and additional insights.
  • Provides input in the compilation and analysis data, and drafts assigned elements of client service plans, stewardship reports, and other presentations tailored to the needs of clients.
  • Participate in client broking strategy meetings with senior staff guidance.
  • Assist in the preparation of requests for quotations to the insurance carriers.
  • Maintain focus on World-authorized workflow and standard operating procedures to support consistency across the World enterprise.
Work Experience  
  • 1-3+ years’ experience in Property and Casualty with a comprehensive understanding of insurance coverages for commercial lines
Professional Licenses/Certifications 
  • Must hold state Property & Casualty insurance license

Compensation
This position is located in New Jersey. The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $59,700 to $73,800. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility, and qualifications. Physical Demands & Working Conditions  
Office work involves working at a desk most of the time, using a stand-up/sit-down adjustable desk. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Typing, grasping, and repetitive motion typically is required every day, and walking and standing are required occasionally.
