General Description
 Provide support to small business unit Client Managers and Client Advisors, primarily handling a high volume of micro accounts generating less than $7,500 in commissions.
  • Obtains renewals from General Agent and/or Carrier.
  • Prepares pre-renewal / renewal letters for delivery to clients.
  • Prepares compensation disclosure notices, where applicable
  • Maintain accurate client and team information and documentation in agency management systems.  
  • May assist with enrollment and billing issues, as needed.
  • May respond to questions related to small group health insurance certification to verify eligibility for health insurance plans.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Prior customer service experience and insurance industry knowledge preferred, but not required.
  • High School Graduate, 4-year college degree preferred.
  • BenefitPoint knowledge a plus but not required.
  • Must currently hold or be willing to earn life and disability insurance license.
  • Ability to work in a team environment. 
  • Ability to set priorities and manage deadlines.
  • Ability to define problems and generate potential solutions.
  • Eager to learn new concepts and further professional development.
  • Detail oriented and prioritizes accuracy.
  • Ability to carry out multiple tasks with both concrete and abstract variables.
  • Establish effective working relationships with internal partners, clients, and carriers.  
  • Comfortable with internet-based programs as well as knowledge of Microsoft office products.
