Director of Producer Commissions and Incentive Payables

Primary Responsibilities
Lead the producer and administrative incentive commission/compensation process
Review quarterly draw reconciliations and periodic Earnout calculations
Leverage technology for continued automation within department processes
Train and guide a team of 5 seasoned commission analysts
Oversee inquiries from all commission recipients including investigation into “missing” commissions, revised rates, shared business, etc.
Oversee sub-ledger to general ledger account/dimension reconciliations
Partner closely with producers, agency unit leaders, divisional leaders and others within the organization
Review Asset Purchase Agreements to determine optimal producer profile requirements
Review producer & broker commission reports to ensure the accuracy of rates and compliance with commission agreements
Review producers & brokers book of business after system conversion for accuracy of rates & codes
Prepare ad hoc management requests
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Required Minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting, insurance industry
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Thorough understanding of the insurance brokerage industry
Excellent supervisory and analytical skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to motivate staff
Required Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience in Applied EPIC, BenefitPoint, & Oracle NetSuite a plus.
