Due to the raid growth of our Small Business Unit, we are searching for an Employee Benefits Service Professional to lead a team of 5-7 direct reports for our Small Business Employee Benefits National Service Center.
Employee Benefits Small Business Unit Divisional Leader - Northeast (Cherry Hill, New Jersey)
The Divisional Leader role for our Small Business Unit (SBU) Service Center is a people management role with 5-7 direct reports. Ultimately, this role is responsible for service, growth strategy, and overall retention for a designated subset of WIA’s SBU clients.
This role supports the WIA Employee Benefits practice in its delivery of WIA’s service model, while providing coaching, training, and guidance to their team. The Team Lead is responsible for ensuring accuracy of client and policy data in WIA’s systems, as well as, deliverables presented to clients.
As a Team Lead, you will partner with both internal and external stakeholders and serve as a point of escalation with clients, insurance carriers, and other vendors. Strong workflow management and book of business management skills are keys to success in this role.
Team Leads should have 7-10 years of experience in the benefits consulting and account management space and be familiar with the small group markets (and their requirements) in states of their assigned region. Team Leads should also be familiar with multiple funding arrangements, specifically, fully insured and level funded. Knowledge of captive arrangements is a plus.
